This flexible stand-alone building with generator and cooling system was the ideal solution for a quick additional space.
We really love getting stuck-in to jobs like this. Not only does the customer have an immediate need, they are also looking for a fast effective solution to the problem.
Vegetable growers, particularly around the Christmas period, require a massive scale up in operations to meet the contractural demands placed on them.
The shear volume of produce that requires harvesting and sending to market requires very careful planning.
If available, cold storage space can play the important role of buffering between the two ends of the business. If not, massive stresses can be heaped on the operational capacity.
These situations reveal the inherent strengths in our products and services.
Essentially, because of the urgent situation that the client found themselves in, we suggested a proven package that included a fast install temporary building and cooling system.
We say proven, because this package has been used successfully in the past and stock is generally available. It’s really a no brainer to get things moving fast, especially when the package is stand alone with power generation- essentially, its all down to you to deliver.
So we supplied to the customer the following;
Once the plan had been agreed with the client, this job turned into an exercise in mobilisation of equipment and services as rapidly as possible.
Happily, all went smoothly and the client was up and running within three days first attending site to install this temporary vegetable coldstore solution.
Due to our experience, this was a relatively simple project project to one, recommend to the client, and two, deliver.
You cant beat experience, and having all the equipment available really means that you can make a resounding success of projects such as this.

This project stayed in position for a total of three weeks providing consistent 4 degree operation.
