We are accredited by the Britannia Safe Contractor Scheme and as such meet the high standards set by them. We are also advised regularly and our systems updated accordingly.
All works to be carried out for our clients are assessed and relevant method statements and risk assessments applied. Clients are given all relevant documentation prior to any works beginning.
Our on-line resourse "Your ACS"Â contains all relevant documentation for ongoing contracted works. This includes all current health and safety policy notes, risk assessments, method statements and any other site specific information. All customers have their own secure area of our web site where they can access this and other information.
A documented site survey is carried out at the inception of any works to identify any risks that may require specific control measures. This, along with relevant method statements forms part of the RAMS documentation that is supplied before any works go ahead.
All hazardous materials used are covered with COSHH certification for their safe use. All documentation is made available before commencement of any works, or to form part of the site folder for ongoing contracts.

The F-Gas regulations
In one of the biggest regulatory changes seen in the air conditioning and refrigeration industries, F-Gas regulation No. 842 2006 became law on the 4 of July 2006. From 4 July 2007 this imposed obligations on "operators" of equipment utilising F-Gases.
F-gases include HFC's which are the most common refrigerants in use. The regulation aims to minimise the losses of these gases to the atmosphere where they have a powerful global warming effect.
The regulations define the "operator" as the people or organisation that has actual power over the technical operation of the equipment. The operator has responsibility for compliance with the regulations.
Advanced Cooling Solutions is fully conversant with the F-Gas regulations. We can advise and build systems that will meet the requirements laid out in these regulations. All our engineers are time served and fully qualified to C&G 2079 or CITB standards in the handling and containment of refrigerants, as presently required.
